My name is Julia Bockius, and I am a Freelance Graphic Designer who recently graduated from the University of Maryland Global Campus. I have previous education from Harford Community College and Towson University. I gained marketing experience during my internship at Red Ball Consultants. Over the past few years, I have developed a keen eye and a deep appreciation for design. As a Graphic Designer, I believe that the forms and colors that we use have the power to communicate with others and express our personalities, values, and ideas. Harford Community College
I spent my first two years at HCC, where I was introduced to design and the essential tools used by graphic designers. It was here that I earned my associate degree.
2021-2023
Towson University
I later transferred to Towson University to complete my BFA, I gained invaluable insights from my professors and courses. I was introduced to new programs and techniques, and I connected with talented designers who have greatly influenced and inspired my current work.
2023-2024
The University of Maryland's Global Campus
I chose to transfer to UMGC to complete my final courses, prioritizing the flexibility they offered. This decision allowed me to balance my studies with work, enabling me to learn and save money. I successfully earned my BFA here.
